Q .The rate of 3.9¢/min is very low - there must be hidden charges with toll free access ?	There are NO additional fees for Toll Free access. Our service can be used from anywhere in the USA.
Q. How are you able to charge such a low rate ?	Simple. We buy in bulk from Tier 1 major carriers and get the best rate with the same quality that you currently get from your home (except at a fraction of the cost). We are one of the largest prepaid carriers to Israel, serving over 13,000 Israeli Americans.
Q. How do I know how much I have been charged for a call ?	After you have made a call , you can call the toll free number, enter your PIN and you will be told how much credit you have left.
Q. Is ordering on Israelitel website secure ?	Yes. We use WorldPay one of the largest online credit card processors on the internet. All transactions are fully secure.
Q. Do I have to switch long distance carriers ?	No. All you need to do is call the toll free number we give you from anywhere in the USA and you are ready to make calls. Call from home, work, a payphone etc.
Q. How long do I have to use up credit ?	All orders are sent in $20 increments. Order $60 , and we will send you 3 x $20 PINS. Each $20 PIN lasts 90 days from first use. The other PINS will not be activated until first used. So use one up, and then move onto the others.
Q. When I order - how long before I recieve the order ?	Usually no longer than 24 hours. Our average time to process and order from approval is 5 hours.
Q. Can I call other countries ?	Yes - you can call within the USA for 4.2 ¢/min , to the UK, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden etc. for 3.9 ¢/min . Click here to see a full list of International Rates.
Q. What happens when I run out of credit ? Will you charge my credit card automatically ?	You have to visit www.israelitel.com again and re-order. We will give you a new PIN. We will not automatically charge you - it's up to you to re-order when you are ready.
Q. Does the same rate apply to calling mobile phones in Israel ? Q. Is there a minimum charged ?	No. All companies charge more to mobile phones. We charge 15 ¢/min which is still competitive but alot more than the 3.9 ¢/min to a land line. There is a 15% carrier usage fee and a minimum of 2 minutes is charged for a call. So a call for 30 seconds will be charged for 2 mins or 7.8 cents. This is still alot less than most carriers will charge per minute. We don't bill by the second, but then you will not find any carrier offering a rate of 3.9 cents/min.
